The Project 42 Fitness Story
My name is Heather Broder, and the journey that led me to create Project 42 Fitness is one of resilience, reinvention, and the belief that it is never too late to reclaim your health.
For years, I lived in a body that was breaking down. I struggled with unhealthy habits, including addiction, and eventually learned I was facing an autoimmune condition. As I approached 40 and entered menopause, everything felt even harder — my energy crashed, my body changed, and I felt disconnected from the person I wanted to be. I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure if I would ever feel healthy again.
But hitting rock bottom became the turning point.
Step by step, I rebuilt my life. I traded self-destruction for self-discipline, confusion for clarity, and pain for purpose. Through fitness, sustainable nutrition, and a commitment to healing both physically and emotionally, I transformed my body and my health. Today, at 50, I am stronger, healthier, and more empowered than I have ever been.
Now my mission is to help others do the same.
Project 42 Fitness was created for anyone who feels stuck, discouraged, or lost in their own body — whether they’re battling addiction, navigating menopause, facing chronic illness, or trying to break unhealthy patterns. I’ve lived through the struggle, I understand the obstacles, and I know what it takes to rise above them.
My transformation is proof that change isn’t just possible — it’s possible at any age.
And I’m here to help you take your first step.
